We have a parks system that is the envy of other municipalities, an infrastructure that has been vastly strengthened over the past many years, and, as other towns and cities teeter on the brink of economic ruin and mass layoffs, Woodbury remains in the black due to strong fiscal planning. That all said, many local families continue to struggle, knowing that one missed paycheck could spell disaster. Taxes remain too high for too many, senior housing remains far too uncommon, and our young adults who leave for college often never come back to Woodbury with their degrees. We must work together to reduce the tax burden here in town, develop our local economy, and maintain the high quality services that many of us have come to enjoy - this will be no easy task, but it's a necessary undertaking. I am honored to serve the people of Woodbury and plan to take on the aforementioned challenges head on.
